At what age are children accepted at the school?

The Salesians of Porto accept children from the age of 3 (must turn 3 by December 31st of the year in which the enrollment is made).

When do applications for the next academic year start?

The application period for the Salesians of Porto generally begins in November, and can be done online through the website or at the school office, which is open Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 18:00.

What are the procedures to apply?

To complete the application, the following steps are required:

Fill out the application form (online or submitted at the school office).
Submit a photocopy of the latest informational report (for candidates to the 1st grade) or the most recent evaluation.

Once the application is submitted, an interview will be scheduled with the candidate and their parents/guardians, lasting approximately 25 minutes.

During the interview process, the candidate may also go through additional steps, according to the procedures related to the application process.

Does the school accept applications for all grade levels?

Yes.

What secondary education courses are available at the school?

The following secondary education courses are available:

Scientific-humanistic course in Sciences and Technologies
Scientific-humanistic course in Social and Economic Sciences
Scientific-humanistic course in Languages and Humanities
Course with a custom plan for Graphic Production – Funded by POCH (Human Capital Operational Program)

When is the confirmation of the vacancy communicated?

The vacancy confirmation is communicated by the administrative services via email, within a maximum of one week after the interview.
